Conserve The Work Behind It

Camera traps, habitat mapping, a village economy, and a garden, the conservation experiences Sariska keeps running whether or not there are guests to show them to.

Mindful Consumption

We embrace a philosophy of mindful consumption to support the surrounding natural habitat and enable a thriving local ecosystem. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and enhancing our green initiatives, ensuring that the surrounding wildlife can thrive.

None of this is a programme you sign up for. It is simply how the camp runs, but if you would like to see it rather than read about it, ask an associate when you arrive.

The Work Behind It

Native Planting

Hundreds of indigenous trees and plants on the property help maintain the groundwater table at healthy levels. These native species are naturally suited to the harsh Rajasthan summers and do not require extra water or special care to thrive.

Zero-Mile Kitchen

We follow the Zero-mile approach for sourcing fresh ingredients for our seasonal menu, with our own pesticide and chemical-free garden providing vegetables and herbs. We use manure from the resident dairy cows and vermicompost to nourish the soil.

By the Numbers

Measured, Not Asserted

We recognise the importance of investing in clean energy and reducing our reliance on fossil fuels. To reduce our energy consumption we installed 100-KW solar panels and made an impact with a reduction of over 200 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year. All rooms carry reverse osmosis filtered water in glass bottles, all trash is segregated, and we compost all biodegradable waste.
